As a new mom who had recently exchanged her 40 hour work week and drinks with friends for a 24/7 job serving bottles to a chubby cheeked newborn, I craved connection in my life. While the client deadlines and project schedules were now meaningless to me, I missed the comradery between my coworkers and the bonds we formed through our day-to-day lives at the office.
The idea of The Toasting Table was born out of this need for connection and the realization that while we might all be on different paths, nothing brings us closer than gathering around the table. With the chaos of our daily life, these get-togethers were sacred, and they felt like they needed to be celebrated. It wasn't just having friends over for a delicious meal and a much needed drink, it was building memories that reminded us of why we are all here doing this in the first place.
The pieces of each collection are meant to honor that special occasion, accenting your existing tableware in line with the changing seasons. Like a vase of cut flowers, they bring the serene feeling of being outdoors inside. They invite conversation, each honoring the history of adorning the places we gather with decorative objects.

I hope they inspire you to grab some appetizers and a bottle of wine, and invite someone over to find a place at your table.
